Using HTML Text Boxes

The HTML text box is used to add webpage design aspects to your eForms. The HTML box is quite easy to use as it is similar to the older versions of Microsoft Frontpage (If you are familar with Frontpage then you will find the HTML box a breeze). If you have never heard of or used Frontpage before imagine Microsoft word that opens up more possiblities with the look and feel of a document yet also allows the integration of external web functions such as css styles, flash objects and more creative designs.

If you have any problems with using the HTML text box, go into edit mode and click into the HTML text box space and a toolbar will popup (the toolbar will also disapear if you click outside the HTML text box, for if it gets in the way).

When the toolbar pops up there is a help icon on the toolbar to direct you out of trouble. This is used so you do not need to jump back forward between help eForms and your eForm to find out how to use a html text box.

Step 1 Open an eForm Record that contains a HTML Text Box.

If you need to add a HTML text box to your eForm please refer to Desiging an eForm in related topics.

Note: All right click options are enabled for additional properties in the HTML text box.

Click Edit (pencil icon).

Click into the HTML Text Box.

Result: A HTML toolbox will appear and you are now in edit mode.

Make appropiate changes and press Save.

Inserting Images Activate Edit mode in the HTML text box within your eForm's record.

Ensure the HTML edit toolbar is available.

Click on the image icon to open the import image dialog box.

Click on Upload Image tab.

Click Browse to locate you image.

Click Upload to upload the image into eBMS.

Go to Browse Files tab.

Note: If you already upload the image into your database, you just have to press Insert button to insert that image.

Additional Notes At the bottom of the HTML Text Box there is 3 tabs.
