Enable Linked eForm Functionability for an eForm
Linked eForms are not for quicklinking or hyperlinking eForms between the two but instead used as a dependent eForm from another to ensure data entry is made quick and automated.
The two most important terms to become familiar with are Child and Parent Linked eForms. It is also important to remember if the linked eForm that has now become the Child to your currently viewed Parent record, do not attempt to link your child record back to the parent record as a parent.
Parent Linked eForms can add data to Child Linked eForms to ensure the same data does not have to be entered over and over. Parent Linked eForms are also dependent on Child Linked eForms as if you are trying to close the workflow progress of a Parent Linked eForm, all the Child Linked eForms must be closed for it to be possible to close the Parent Linked eForm.
Warning: If the linked eForm that has now become the Child to your currently viewed Parent record, do not attempt to link your child record back to the parent record as a parent.
eBMS Tip: Save time with data entry and more advanced functionability by designing Linked eForm enabled eForms and maintaining them correctly.
