Create Quicklink

eBMS Tip: Cutomise your eBMS Quicklinks by adding them to user modified catorgories to filter through links efficently.

Step 1 Select the Quicklinks tab.

Click New button (image of a blank page, right of the export to PDF button)

Result:
  The Add / Edit Quicklink window appears.
 
Step 2 Select either a file / weblink / local file that you want to quicklink.

Click Browser to open the Microsoft Browser window. Find the required file and select it.

Result: The file path will automatically appear in the Quicklink File field. e it)
 
Step 3 Type in the new name of the link into the Quicklink Name field, Type in a Quicklink Description.

Browse accross to the Category Panel and choose the desired category, along with project and department (if required) that the quicklink belongs to.  This will help when narrowing down your searches.

As an additional option you could goto the Permissions Tab if there are certain people you want only to be able to view this quick link.  For more information on the permission system please refer to permissions system in the related topics.

Proceed to Save a Quicklink below. 

Tip: Quicklink Description allows you to write a description to provide a clear indication of the document content. Key words in the description are particularly useful when colleagues perform a search, using the Description search filter.
