Getting Started: eBMS Introduction
Welcome to eBMS,
eBMS is a web based enterprise business management system where you can design and edit your own multi-user IT processes. Although eBMS is very complex and intelligent in its' development, eBMS is designed so that it is as easy as possible for any user with minimum if any IT support required at all. eBMS has supplied a very detailed help and support system that contains both text and video screen capture help content. Switching to the video tutorial mode in any help file is as easy as clicking the Video Tutorial tab.
eBMS is used to manage any process within your business and improve it. When used correctly and efficently eBMS can assist with continuous business improvement and encourage corrective actions leaving only one option... success. eBMS encourages all users to utilise the help files and grasp the software to take control of your business. eBMS can also be used for project tracking, project management, audit compliance reporting requirements and even documentation management. Personally centralise and control your sensitive information.
If you have any problems working with eBMS please read the help section first before contacting an Administrator or eBMS. Before contacting eBMS regarding technical support please contact your administrator as additional fees and charges may apply depending on your eBMS support level. Another reason to contact your administrator first is; eBMS has a very advanced permissions system and your administrator may not have enabled you to view or access certain sections of eBMS. If you have tried to approach your administrator and problems are still occouring please contact eBMS.
Note: The video tutorials require flash to be installed. Majority of computers these days have flash installed but if for some reason it is not working then please visit www.adobe.com and install the flash viewer plugin, you will need this plugin if you would like to utilise the power of video learning (your administrator may need to install this on your machine if you do not have the correct permissions on your workstation).

On entry to eBMS you arrive at the Home tab. From here you have many sections available within one to two clicks of a button.
In the top left hand corner you have your companies name (this can be changed in the Control Panel). To the right you have the eBMS version and a link to the eBMS website.
Below that top header is the Main Menu, this consists of the main areas:
- Home: The Home Portal where you enter eBMS
- My eForms: Your tasks, objectives, projects, forms, etc, that have been assigned to you.
- Quicklinks: A Portal that enables quick and easy access to any site, eForm or company file on the server.
- eForms: Where all the data, forms and information is stored and/or imported to.
- Control Panel: The section where all options and permissions can be configured.
- Help: By clicking the help tab it will redirect you back to the help contents..
To the right of the Main Menu within the same bar text will appear under the eBMS version informing you what section you are currently in.
Underneath the Main Menu in every page you have a panel on the left that can be opened and closed at anytime with the small grey arrow, or resized by draging wider/shorter (excluding the home page).
Note: eBMS recommends to leave the left hand panel for quick access to additional features.
eBMS Tip: Customise your Home page section with hyperlinks in the navigation panel and also add customise greeting messages.
