Using Profiles in Charting Report

Creating Profile's helps you save settings in Charting Report. 

When you enter a report, there may be information that you do not want to view because it is not relevant to what you are doing.  To fix this you create a profile, creating and editing profiles are quite easy and it only takes a minute or two to set up.

eBMS Tip: Save time in the future by building profiles for easily selecting pre-saved filter settings.

Step 1 Click the eForms tab. 

Result: A list of all system eForms appear (included with eBMS system).

Tip: If you can't find the eForm you are looking for, try clicking all in the categories panel and using the eForm Filter to search for the eForm you are looking for. Refer to Using Categories and eForm Filter in related topics.

Click the Admin link from the row of the desired eform. When the menu drops down, select Tabular Report
 
Step 2 Open the Charting Profiles Panel on the left if it is not already open.

Click the Add Button and name the profile but do not save yet.
 
Step 3 Set the appropiate values for Split, Filter, X-Axis Data Field, Y-Axis Data Field and Chart Type options.

Split:
The eForm field / control / topic that you will be focusing on for your graph.

Filter: You can drill down further into data by filtering out non required data. (This step is optional)

X-Axis Data Field: Use the X-Axis Data Field to select specific field that is to be displayed in the graph.

Y-Axis Data Field: Use the Y-Axis Data Field to select the time range that is to be displayed in the graph.

Chart Type: Users can choose what type of graph they would like for the report. Table, Bar, Stacked Bar, Bar %, Area, Area % or Line Graphs can be selected.
 
Step 4 Return to the Charting Profiles Panel on the left if it is not already open.

Click the Save Button and now you profile is saved to the database.
