Change eForm Properties

Understanding eForm and object / field properties will are one of the main keys to designing advanced eForm Designs.

eBMS Tip: Create a testing eForm so that you can try it out the different functions of the properties menu without editing pre-existing working eForms.

Edit eForm properties	Open desired eForm in eForm Designer. Please refer to Open an eForm with eForm Designer in related topics. Click on an empty cell. Click to open the Properties Panel on the left if the panel is not already open. Edit desired Properties. Click Apply. Press Save.

Edit object / field properties	Open desired eForm in eForm Designer. Please refer to Open an eForm with eForm Designer in related topics. Click on the desired object or field. Click to open the Properties Panel on the left if the panel is not already open. Edit desired Properties. Click Apply. Press Save.

Additional Notes	There are many different properties for different kinds of objects, these properties fall under the following tabs: General - label / formula / group names. List - When creating dropdown menus. Control - Action/Control Functions for an Object. eg options for export to word, assign to description, read only, mandatory feilds. Format - Colours, fonts, styles, and just general object / eForm formating. Permissions - This tab for allowing certain users to be able to access, view and / or edit certain parts of the eForm or the whole eForm all together. Linked eForm - Options for linking eForms. Linked Record - Options for linking eForm Records. Once desired properties have been changed click the apply button before you click another object.
