Linked eForms are not for quicklinking or hyperlinking eForms between the two but instead used as a dependent eForm from another to ensure data entry is made quick and automated. This also assists with completing projects and processess, Parent eForms cannot be closed until Child eForms are closed..

Warning: If the linked eForm that has now become the Child to your currently viewed Parent record,  do not attempt to link your child record back to the parent record as a parent.

eBMS Tip: Save time with data entry and more advanced functionability by designing Linked eForm enabled eForms.

Step 1 Open up the desired eForm record or create a new one that has eForm linking enabled.  Refer to Add New eForm Record and Enable Linked eForm in related topics.

Open up the Linked eForms Panel on the left by clicking on it (if it is not already open)

Select the eForm from the eForm Type dropdown box.

Step 2 Enter Add New or Add Exisiting button.

Add New - This will add a new Child eForm Record to the eForm that you have selected from the eForm type dropdown box.

Add Exisiting - This will link an already exisiting record as a Child eForm Record to the eForm that you are currently in.  To select an already exisiting record, select the eForm from the eForm type dropdown box and click Add Exisiting.  Another dropdown box will appear with all of the eForm record ID numbers, just select the correct ID # and press add.

Step 3 Press the Save button.
