Add a Hyperlink to an eForm

A Hyperlink is a object / control that can be created with the eForm Designer and/or HTML Boxes to allow users to add a URL link into an eForm. For more information regarding adding hyperlinks to HTML boxes please refer to Using HTML Boxes in related topics.

eBMS Tip: Save time in the future by creating hyperlinks to jump to other eForm / eForm Records / Websites quickly.

Step 1 Open desired eForm in eForm Designer. Please refer to Open an eForm with eForm Designer in related topics.

Select the area on the eForm where you want your hyperlink to be placed (The cell will now have a black border when selected).

Open the Insert Panel if it is not already open.

Click the Hyperlink button.
 
Step 2 Resize and allocate the object as you wish. Refer to Design an eForm in related topics.
Open the Properties Panel and set any additional settings if required. Refer to How to Change eForm's Properties in related topics.

In the General Tab, enter the name.

elect either URL Hyperlink or eForm Hyperlink and set the appropiate values.

URL Hyperlink - Enable quick access to websites on the internet (must include http:// at the start)

eForm Hyperlink - Enable quick access to other eForms within eBMS.

Warning: eForm Hyperlink is NOT the same as Linked eForms. For more information please refer to Linked eForms in the related topics
 
Step 3 Click Apply.

Press Save button.

Result: A new link will be displayed in your eForm.
