Delete A Measure

To be able to create a chart/graph to be included for graphical reporting the balanced scorecard tool requires a unit/product/process of some type to as a measure.  A Measure is considered some type of value that is relevant to the business.

It is very important to understand the difference between a Measure and a KPI when setting up your balanced scorecard.  As a beginner step think of separating the two like this; KPI = Measure + Measure

Eg. For a fresh fruit business; apples would be 1 measure and oranges would be a different measure.  To find out the total fruit (apples + oranges) produced/sold/wasted .etc the total fruit value would be a KPI. So therefor KPI = Measure + Measure in this scenerio would be Total Fruit = Apples + Oranges.

WARNING: This action will delete the selected Measure from the entire eBMS Balanced Scorecard and database. eBMS highly recommends you back up all related data before deleting a Measure. Data can not be recovered after deleting a Measure unless it has been backed up previously. Refer to Update Data From Excel File in the related topics for more about backing up data.
