Create A New Chart

Chart Config is where to go to setup or edit individual charts. Once a chart has been created via Chart Config it can be then mapped to a scorecard. A scorecard is a dashboard or series of individual charts in the one view/page.

eBMS Tip: The more well thought you your scorecard/chart concepts, KPI’s and measures are; the high chance you have of correctly continually improving your business.

Step 1 Click the Chart Config tab

Type a new name for the chart in the Name text field

If there is an associated scorecard that is already existent then select it from the dropdown
 
Step 2 Select either KPI or measure (dependent on what data you are looking to show)

Select the name of the measure/KPI

Result: A value in the formula column should appear
 
Step 3 Select the appropriate values for Data Type, Chart Type, Colour, Line Style, 3 Months MovAvg, 12 Months MovAvg, 2nd Y Axis

Now move down to the Format option and you will have a series of options; X Axis Format, Axis Format, 2nd Y Axis Format, Y Axis Unit, 2nd Y Axis Unit, Y Axis Scale

Select the appropriate options that apply to your graph.

Click the Save button up the top along the navigation menu.

Notes
Data Type: Select from Actual, Forecast, Target or KPI to choose the type of data you are looking to view
Chart Type: Select from either a bar or line chart
Colour: Select the colour that the data will be represented by in the graph.
Line Style: From here you can select the type of line you would like eg. Continuous, dotted, dashed
3 Months MovAvg: Force the chart to take a 3 month average from this value
12 Months MovAvg: Force the chart to take a 3 month average from this value

X Axis Format: The type of formatting values available for the X axis
Y Axis Format: The types of formatting values available for the Y axis eg. 0, 0.00, 0.000, $0, $0.00, 0%, 0.00%
Y Axis Unit: Select the type of unit the Y axis is associated with eg. Kwh, g, kg, mb, units
Y Axis Scale: Select the Y axis scale from either thousands or millions.
