Welcome to the eBMS News and RSS page. We are regularly adding updating this page with our latest news, downloads and updates to keep you informed of eBMS progress. This page is just an import of our RSS news feed. eBMS highly recommends to add our news feed to either your outlook, browser or any other feed reader you may use.
What is RSS and why should I use it?
RSS stand for Really Simple Syndication, it is written in XML and it is very easy to use. When you land on a RSS page your browser will show you the RSS News Feed and also have an option "Subscribe to this feed". By clicking subscribe it will add it to your favoured feed viewer (eBMS recommends to use it with Outlook as it is very convenient for resources).
The reason why you should use rss is that it cuts out all the time spent trying to find the right webpage via search engines. It also saves load times on visiting sites as small strings of text are just downloaded rather then a full webpage with images and menus etc. Another positive is that you will always recieve site updates into your RSS reader as soon as they are published. Once you have found a selection of RSS feeds that appeal to you whether it be work or leisure related you will then grasp the true power of RSS.
RSS requires no email accounts, you cannot recieve spam from subscribing to RSS as you are downloading the news feed instead of having it sent to you like a mailing list.
More people are resorting to RSS to filter through thousands of dudd search results and retrieve desired information quickly. If you haven't used RSS before then start with the eBMS RSS Feed.
