The Company

eBMS Pty Ltd was formed in 1995 by Dennis Rosler. Dennis saw an opportunity to fill a much needed segment in the management and business information markets. He felt that there was a need for more cost effective solutions to any management challenge. eBMS has created many innovative, cost effective and timely solutions for a wide range of customer needs.

Message From the CEO

The internet is challenging our view of software applications. Our businesses are too complex. Cloud based applications are going to simplify our businesses.

The eBMS Vision is to provide very low cost, instant, flexible Business Management and Intelligence software and services.

We are using the latest in web based technologies and have designed our software to allow our customers to tailor our products to suit their specific needs. The tailoring can be done by virtually anyone in the business using a simple drag and drop methodology ... you don't need any software skills.

The eBMS software allows businesses of all sizes to gradually create a truly integrated environment that allows eBMS to become the management tool of choice. With over 50 years of collective experience; eBMS is operated by a team of highly skilled professionals that vary from technical IT development to business marketing and design. Our team has a very diverse range of skills to assist clients with their more complicated custom requirements.

Cyril Blyth - Sales & Marketing

Cyril Blyth has performed in variety of middle management roles specialising in sales and marketing consultancy services. He began his working life at Kodak working on various method improvement projects & was a member of Kodak's Industrial Engineering team. After other brief stints in Kodak's Personnel & Marketing divisions, Cyril joined Maxwell Optical Industries (distributor for Nikon optical products) as State Sales Manager for 10 years.

More recently Cyril has worked with Lester Associates providing management services to IT professionals. Cyril's consultancy experiences have enabled him to develop a strong interest in Change management issues facing businesses today.

 

 

 

Dennis Rosler - eBMS CEO

Dennis Rosler, since graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering has had twenty five years of productive professional experience, twenty years of this in executive management. He began his career as an electronic design engineer and developed both software and hardware products for such companies as NEC, GEC Marconi, Thorn EMI, Datacraft, NetComm, Banksia Technology. Dennis completed his MBA at the end of 2000. He has held the following executive positions:

• Engineering Manager Datacraft Ltd.

These positions along with his design roles have allowed Dennis the chance to develop a very diverse and somewhat unique range of experience.

He has extensive management and hands on experience in:

• Management of Finance, Hardware, Software, Project Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support and HR staff
• Software and Hardware design focused on design for manufacturability, quality, serviceability and intuitive use

Our Technology

eBMS Pty Ltd is focusing on the primary enterprise technologies chosen by the majority of the worlds companies. These technologies are the range of Microsoft Office products with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Recently, eBMS recognise's the need to provide web accessed solutions complimenting the solutions that can be developed using Excel. eBMS has chosen the Microsoft .NET framework.

Microsoft Excel

Excel must be the least understood but most powerful tool readily available to millions of companies. These companies already own licenses but overlook excel as a delivery platform for various applications. It is mainly seen as an ad hoc reporting and analysis tool and as such it is unusual to see it factored into enterprise wide solutions. eBMS has shown that technically advanced, user friendly applications can be developed at a fraction of the cost and time of other development frameworks. Also, the initial investment and future maintenance costs of the software can be removed from any development budget as these are already a cost of business. Excel becomes a very dynamic and powerful application when coupled with Visual Basic for Applications. eBMS specialises in utilising VBA to provide solutions that customers have describe as AWESOME, IMPOSSIBLE, POWERFUL, INTUITIVE, FUN TO USE and MUST HAVE.

Microsoft .NET Framework

Some of eBMS's more advanced products are based on the Microsoft .Net framework using Visual Basic .Net and associated SQL Server and Access databases. It has chosen the .Net framework because it is a server side web solution that is shipped free of charge with Windows Server 2003. Like Excel, this platform will be available to many of the worlds companies using Microsoft servers. eBMS is also able to leverage technical expertise across its web applications and its office applications. This allows great flexibility for any organisation using eBMS's services.

Visual Basic

Visual Basic has been chosen as the primary development language as it can be applied to solutions in Excel, Access, Word, Project and the .NET web server and services framework. This allows eBMS engineers to utilise experience on different frameworks as well as being able to provide solutions that work across the various Microsoft Applications.

The spreadsheet is now considered a pricing application and has enhanced the structure in our pricing whilst being able to continuously improve the quoting process. eBMS has been very prompt at integrating new features.
